Lavani, as a performing art, has been popular in the state of Maharashtra for centuries. However, little is known of the women who have made Lavani their lives. Through the winding journey of life with its joys and passions, the film tells the stories of Lavani dancers. Their stories are full of love, pain, power, seduction, survival, expectations, dreams... and ultimately segregation from society. Yet through the trials and tribulations, all they have to say is: "I am living for the one true love of my life - Lavani".
