Q. How can I place an order on the site?

1. Select an item from our catalogue - CD, book, poster or any other product on display on the site and click Add to Cart from its details page. 
2. Select your shipping location - India for delivery within India or Other for outside India.
3. If you are done placing items in your cart, click Buy > to proceed to checkout, else click Continue to place more items in the cart. (Please note: there is a limit to how many items you can place in your cart in one go. If you need to order in bulk please see our Custom Orders options.)
4. Fill in the required details in the subsequent pages. All information is required and necessary.
5. At the final checkout page, choose the payment option (Online Checkout--credit cards/netbanking, Demand Draft or Cash-on-Delivery--India only), that suits your needs and complete your transaction as instructed.

 

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

Online orders (Real-time processing): We accept all major credit cards -- VISA, American Express, Diners Club, JCB Cards and Citibank E-Cards (MasterCard processing is temporarily suspended). You can also make an online payment if you have an Internet Banking (Netbanking) account with one of these banks (India only) – HDFC bank, Citibank, ICICI, IDBI, UTI iConnect, Global Trust Bank, Centurion Bank, The Federal Bank, The Bank of Punjab and more. We use the secure CCAvenue.com payment gateway to process your online orders in real time.

Paypal: You can use your Paypal account to pay for an order that is to be shipped outside India. Please note that the Paypal option is not enabled for orders to be shipped within India. Paypal payments need a processing time of 5-7 days to be credited to our bank account and we will be able to ship your order only once your payment has been credited to our account.

Demand Draft: Click the Demand Draft option at checkout time to pay with a Demand Draft/Money Order/Pay Order. Once you receive the confirmation email for your offline order, please print out a copy of the order details and send it along with the Demand Draft, payable in New Delhi, drawn in favour of Underscore Records Pvt. Ltd. and send it to us at our registered address: 39-B, MIG Flats, Motia Khan, Paharganj, New Delhi 110055, India. Your order will be processed and shipped once the payment has cleared. (Please note: There will be an additional charge of US$ 7 for pay orders sent from outside India.)

For orders shipped to Indian locations only we also offer the following payment option:
Cash-on-Delivery (new): We now offer Cash-on-Delivery (COD) options for orders within India. Select this option at checkout to pay for an order on its delivery. Please note there are additional costs involved with this type of a payment option, as detailed below:

Order value upto Rs. 1000	:	COD Charges Rs. 50
Order value between Rs. 1001 -- 2000	:	COD Charges Rs. 100
Order value between Rs. 2001 -- 3000	:	COD Charges Rs. 150
Order value between Rs. 3001 -- 4000	:	COD Charges Rs. 200
Order value between Rs. 4001 -- 5000	:	COD Charges Rs. 250
Order value between Rs. 5001 -- 7000	:	COD Charges Rs. 300
Order value above Rs. 7000	:	3% of invoice amount
plus Fuel surcharge @ 10% of shipping and COD charges.
plus Service tax @ 12.24% of shipping and COD charges (as per Government of India laws).

Q: I don't have a credit card or a netbanking account. Can I still place an order?

Yes. You can also pay for your order with a Demand Draft / Pay Order / Money Order, or opt for the Cash-on-Delivery method. See above. Cash-on-Delivery is only available for orders within India.

Q. When will I receive my order?

Delivery time-frame for orders depends on the shipping method and payment method. Order placed online with a credit card or Netbanking account are processed and shipped within 2-5 working days. Orders placed with Demand Drafts / Pay Orders option are processed on realization of the payment. COD orders need to be paid in full upon delivery (including all COD charges).

Shipping via Courier can take anywhere from 2-7 days for delivery, depending on the location.
Shipping via Registered Post can take anywhere from 6-21 days depending on the location.

Q. Are the prices mentioned for the items in the catalogue inclusive of shipping?

No, the shipping costs are extra and will be billed to you in addition to the price of the CD, book or any product that you wish to purchase. The shipping costs are calculated according to the shipping location entered by you and the mode of delivery that you select. We suggest the Courier for locations within India, and Registered Post for Other.

Q. Can I buy more than one album or book as part of one order?

Yes, you can buy a whole range of material from the catalogue. The weight of all goods will be added based on their product type and the shipping costs will be calculated accordingly.

However, please note, you cannot mix Downloads (MP3, Ebook etc.) with any other products in your order. You must always place a separate order for Downloads..

Q. Can I review or cancel an order?

You can review your order at any time while placing it (add/remove/change quantity, payment option at checkout etc.), but you cannot cancel an order once the order has been received for processing by us. If you believe there was a mistake in the information submitted with your order please let us know immediately via email ([email protected]) and please include the order number.
