Description

This Audio CD contains tracks in MP3 format that provide Lehera or Nagma accompaniment on the harmonium for tabla and pakhawaj players and students, as well as dancers. Each of the Leheras/Nagmas has been pre-recorded on the harmonium for accompaniment to taals with 7,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22 and 28 matras, including Rupak, Tevra, Basant Taal, Matta Taal, Rastaal, Chautaal, Teentaal, and Ganesh Taal.The Nagmas/Leheras are in a variety of raags such as Jaijaivanti, Bhinnashadja, Malkauns, Khambavati, Janasammohini, and Basant and in the scale of G#. Each of the Leheras is available in Vilambit, Madhya, Drut and  Ati Drut Laya. A Tanpura drone has also been provided with the Leheras.

Track durations are as follows:

Vilambit Laya: 25 minutes

All other speeds: 15 minutes.

Instructions for operating:

1. Insert CD into CD/DVD player

2. Select Taal or number of matras of your choice

3. Select and enter Lehera

4. Select "Repeat one" mode to continue the same Lehera when the track comes to an end.
