Tanpura Sathi 1 contains recorded samples of tanpura drones in MP3 format in the following keys: G#, A# and A (also referred to as Kaali 4, 5 and Safed 6). These are normally suitable for female voices, and Tanpura Sathi provides options for selecting either a single tanpura drone, or a pair of tanpuras. The samples are pretuned to Pancham, Madhyam and Nishad for each of the three pitches mentioned above.
