The second volume in a set of seven books, this book contains definitions of terms and terminology related to Hindustani music, as well as notated compositions in the following raags:
Bihag, Hamir, Shankara, Bhimpalasi, Bageshri, Rageshri, Bhoop Kalyan, Yaman Kalyan, Hindol, and Bhairavi.

These volumes were edited by Balwantrai Bhatt "Bhavrang" and later by Dr. Premlata Sharma, both of whom were his disciples.
