The fifth volume in a set of seven books, this book contains definitions of terms and terminology related to Hindustani music, as well as notated compositions in the following raags:
Bihagada, Maru Bihag, Chayanat, Kamod, Malhar, Deshkar, Vibhas, Darbari Kanada, Malgunji, Sur Malhar, Jhinjhoti, Jogi and Kalingada.

These volumes were edited by Balwantrai Bhatt "Bhavrang" and later by Dr. Premlata Sharma, both of whom were his disciples.
