Description

This book is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Dr. Josef Kuckertz. It contains his writings on Indian music mainly pertaining to South India. They deal with folk and classical music.

The book also contains a piece on Sinhalese vannama dances by Selina Thielmann. A bilbiography of Prof. Dr. Kuckertz is compiled by Gisela Pieper and Selina Thielmann.
