This album forms part of a series titled Young Maestros, that was produced and published by Music Today several years. The series featured recording debuts of some of the leading musicians of the younger generation.

Gwalior gharana vocalist, Meeta Pandit presents Khayals in Raags Deshkar and Kedar on this album, as well as a tappa and bhajan.
