Merlin De Souza

One of the few women composers, arrangers and musicians to have carved a niche for herself in the world of Indian films, pianist Merlin De Souza started her training in Western music at a young age. Having received encouragement from her family, Merlin went on to compose and perform for theatricals. Later, she took to composing for jingles and Hindi feature films. She continues to pursue an active performance career in addition to her recording schedule. Merlin has performed in India and abroad and has commercial albums to her credit.
