Deepak Raja

Deepak  Raja studied Hindustani music for almost fifty years.He learnt sitar and surbahar from P.B. Deb Burman and Arvind Parikh of the Imdad Khan/ Etawah gharana and also studied khayal from Dhondutai Kulkarni of Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. He started writing on music with liner notes, and has since published a book on Hindustani vocal music.  He has many performances to his credit.
