Shantilal Shah

Shantilal Shah is a disciple of well-known tabla player Suresh Talwalkar. His basic training was under Mahadev Prasad Mishra of Banaras. Shantilal was a gold medallist from the Sangeet Natak Academy of Lucknow, and also won the National scholarship awarded by the Government of India.

Having been awarded the Sangeet Prabhakar from the Prayaag Sangeet Samiti of Allahabad, Shantilal Shah is also a graded artiste of the All India Radio & Television. He has performed in India and overseas and is presently based in the USA.
