Satyasheel Deshpande

Born into a family deeply rooted in music, Satyasheel Deshpande grew up surrounded by major musicians who were contemporaries of his father, a musicologist. Later, he trained with Kumar Gandharva, and realized the enriching connections between the classical and folk Indian traditions.

He also heads an archive for Hindustani music.
