Pushkar Lele

Pushkar Lele started his learning vocal music at the age of three from Gangadharbua Pimpalkhare. Later, he learnt from Vijay Koparkar, a disciple of Vasantrao Deshpande and Jitendra Abhisheki, for about eight years. Pushkar is currently receiving advanced training from Vijay Sardeshmukh, a senior disciple of Kumar Gandharva.

Pushkar Lele is a recipient of the Central Government scholarship for classical vocal music awarded by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), as well as the scholarship from the Department of Culture, Government of India. Pushkar is also a graded artiste of All India Radio for natyasangeet, bhavgeet, bhajan, tappa, thumri and dadra.

He has also received several awards such as the Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar Award, Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Yuva Kalakaar Puraskar, the Paingankankar Smruti Puraskar given by Pandit Jasraj Mitra Mandal Trust.
